Cid wouldn't be allowed to curse that much in any future title now that he has a voice-actor. His choice of words may not be vulgar in Kingdom Hearts (or perhaps he is a little in the japanese version? Maybe?), but he still has that sarcastic and snide, patronising attitude that we love so much =D though, he doesn't get a voice-actor until KH2.

You know, I feel that Kingdom Hearts has done a better cameo with "The World Ends With You" than with most Final Fantasy characters, 'cause I can actually see how the characters actually came from their original game; that's what was missing with the FF characters.

Sorry if I'm talking too much ^^; I'm still one who fully respects and admires the KH series for what it is; I have played every game all the way through. It would've been foolish to just stop at, say, the first (KH1) or second (KH Chain of Memories; not KH2, 'cause originally, KH COM was made for Gameboy before it was Remade for PS2). Somehow I feel like SQUARE ENIX is keeping Disney alive, in spite of its constant failures, because they bring classic Disney characters that are missed =(

Take away Cid's &^*%$ and his cigarette = "Kid-friendly" Cid. Oh, Square Enix logic! AVALANCHE has a domestic division led by a father who left his daughter in a town to travel the continent and track down Jesus-roth. This is not ironic AT ALL. And Palmer, Tifa will have you know that Nibelheim's "rope" bridge is made of the finest dental floss ever, you $*^%#.

I think they should replace Cid's cigarette with a banana to stay true to the meme. :nod: And I don't know if Barret remembers he has a daughter at this point. Maybe he'll steal another child. Maybe he thinks Yuffie is his daughter.

With all the prostitution, gay orgies, cussing, whimsical rocket dolphins, and domestic abuse it is a true miracle this game only got a teen rating.

I enjoy that the ESRB was probably too lazy to play through it to find out what was in the game. "What? READING? Not in my 1997 gaming!"

Pshaw. No one reads anything anymore especially not license agreements and game dialog. Because everyone knows you wouldn't put illicit activities and cussing in video games. . .
