OMG... how did I never realize until reading this comic strip how all over the place technology is in this game?  Like there's trucks and motorcycles, but then more than once there's also a chocobo-drawn cart.  It kind of makes sense here because the guys Amish or a ghost or something, but it's even more confusing in Midgar.  Is that just the Don's way of being flashy?  It would be like having your hookers ride around NYC in a horse-drawn carriage.  LOL.
